Highly Effective Bacterial Multi-Strain Inoculant for Pre-Sowing Treatment of Legume Seeds

RYZOBIN is a highly effective modern inoculant with a unique combination of biological properties of legume rhizobium bacteria strains of domestic selection, capable of performing better under different local climate conditions and soil physicochemical characteristics. It is used as an inoculant for pre-sowing treatment of legume seeds (soybeans, lupins, peas, chickpeas, alfalfa, vetch, sweet clover, sainfoin, forage beans, clover, lentils, beans, and others) to ensure the formation and function of an active symbiotic apparatus (nodules) on the roots. RYZOBIN contains three highly active, virulent, and competitive strains of live rhizobium bacteria, selected for their optimal ratio of synthesized metabolites, and high nodulation and nitrogen-fixing activity.

The biopreparation RYZOBIN includes only those bacterial strains that are specific to the corresponding legume species. The inoculant is balanced in terms of the biosynthetic activity of the strains and the spectrum of microbial compounds, containing a natural complex of biologically active substances produced by the rhizobia (B vitamins, phytohormones such as auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, enzymes, amino acids, organic acids, polysaccharides, fatty acids, and others). The concentration of live nitrogen-fixing rhizobia cells in the product is at least 3-5·10^9 cells/ml.

The effectiveness of the product is determined by the bacteria’s ability, thanks to the activity of a specific nitrogenase enzyme system, to fix atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into ammonium nitrogen. The maximum amount of fixed nitrogen from the nodules is supplied to the plant during flowering and pod filling. The use of the inoculant ensures the supply of approximately 120-160 kg/ha of nitrogen in the most available form. This reduces the cost of mineral nitrogen fertilizers and restores soil fertility. When following the proper usage rules and cultivation technology for legumes, RYZOBIN contributes to a 10-20% increase in yield while simultaneously increasing the protein content in the grain.

Application Method

Pre-sowing seed treatment should be done the day before or on the day of sowing. The recommended dosage of the biopreparation is 100-200 ml per hectare of seed or 0.5-1.0 liters per 1 ton of seed. For treating a batch of seeds, dilute the indicated amount of the product to the required volume (1.0-1.5% of the seed sowing rate). Seeds are treated by mixing them manually or in seed treatment machines, which should be free of pesticide residues, and lightly air-dried, avoiding direct sunlight to preserve the bacteria’s viability. Seeds should be sown in moist soil. The recommended minimum soil temperature for application is +10°C, with a maximum of +30°C. The product should be mixed before use.

The inoculant is not compatible in tank mixtures with highly effective chemical seed treatments. Only low-toxicity seed treatments authorized for use on pulse crops may be combined with the inoculant. If necessary, it can be combined with seed treatments such as Biopolicid, Fever, Scarlet, Maxim Star, Maxim XL 035 FS, Vitavaks-200FF, Kinto Duo, Fundazol in a single tank mix.

Storage Conditions

The product is available in liquid or gel forms (with adhesive) and also on inert carriers. It is packaged in polymer bottles or canisters. Store the inoculant in its original packaging, in a dry, light-protected place, separately from pesticides and other chemicals and toxic substances. The shelf life is guaranteed for 2 months at temperatures between +4°C and +15°C.
