Bacterial Biopreparation for Seed Inoculation and Treatment of Vegetative Plants of Cereal, Industrial, and Vegetable Crops

A highly effective biopreparation based on growth-stimulating phosphate-mobilizing soil bacteria Bacillus megaterium, designed for treating agricultural crop seeds before sowing and during vegetation to improve phosphorus nutrition of plants and increase the productivity of cereal, industrial, and vegetable crops. The preparation is used for pre-sowing seed treatment (as an inoculant), soaking the root system of seedlings and saplings, root fertilization of agricultural plants, and spraying vegetating plants at different growth stages. It also improves soil fertility indicators and increases phosphorus availability for plants.

The use of this biopreparation in agriculture replaces 50-60 kg/ha of phosphorus fertilizers. The content of active, mobile phosphorus in the soil increases by 20-30%, contributing to a 8-12% increase in cereal crop yields while also increasing the protein content in grain by up to 3%. Enhanced nutrient uptake and the use of PHOSFOBACTERIN do not lead to the accumulation of harmful mineral compounds in the produce. The use of the PHOSFOBACTERIN biopreparation in agricultural crop cultivation technologies offers several advantages: significant yield increase; improved drought and winter hardiness of crops; enhanced efficiency of mineral fertilizer use; positive impact on soil biological activity; improvement of soil agrochemical characteristics; improved quality of produce; positive effect on the development of subsequent crops in crop rotations.

The bacteria-bioagents in PHOSFOBACTERIN multiply in the soil around the plant roots, producing substances that convert insoluble phosphorus compounds into easily available forms. PHOSFOBACTERIN promotes plant growth by releasing natural growth stimulators and vitamins into the soil. Plants treated with the preparation better withstand adverse weather conditions. The use of PHOSFOBACTERIN significantly increases the phosphorus use efficiency from mineral fertilizers by plants.

The application of the preparation does not require additional costs for seed treatment (it can be combined with seed dressing) or during vegetation (it can be applied together with pesticides). This, in turn, helps reduce costs for chemical plant protection products and increases farm profits by lowering production costs. The concentration of live growth-stimulating phosphate-mobilizing bacteria in the preparation is at least 0.5·10^9 cells/ml.

Application Method
Pre-sowing seed treatment should be carried out the day before or on the day of sowing. The recommended application rate of the biopreparation is 100-200 ml per hectare of seed or 0.5-1.0 liters per 1 ton of seed. To treat a batch of seeds, dilute the required dose of the preparation to the desired volume (1.0-1.5% of the seeding rate). Sowing should be done in moist soil. The recommended minimum soil temperature when using the biopreparation is +10°C, and the maximum is no higher than +30°C. Before use, the preparation should be mixed thoroughly.

Storage Conditions
The preparation is available in liquid or gel forms (with an adhesive) and on inert carriers. It is packaged in polymer bottles or canisters. Store the inoculant in its original packaging, in a dry, light-protected place, separate from pesticides and other chemicals and toxic substances. The shelf life is 2 months when stored at +4 ‑ +15°C.
